The Nurture Place runs interactive, engaging workshops for adults that focus on the crucial role of play in your child’s emotional, social, physical and cognitive development. These sessions are designed for nannies and parents with children aged from birth to 8-years-old,  who wish to gain confidence, knowledge, and strategies in the importance of play and how these can help with your child at home.

Putting children at the heart of everything we do, and being mothers ourselves, we know that children need nurturing relationships to thrive.  Research shows that play is the most significant tool to aid your child’s development and well-being. Our interactive and experiential workshops will provide structured techniques, enabling nannies and parents to confidently engage and support your child with play, at home.

Art Class
“My nanny is so much more patient and understanding when my son has anger outbursts. I used to feel uncomfortable about how she responded to him and have asked her to be more caring towards him when he is upset. I have really noticed a difference in how she deals with him now and how she can diffuse a situation by suggesting they play something together when he is upset”

Lucy, mum of a 5-year-old boy.
